EG Events Producer - London

Summary:

EG is looking for an ambitious, multi-talented events producer to help drive our established and well-respected events business. Through our events, news and analysis, data products and weekly magazine, EG covers every aspect of the property industry from the sales of iconic buildings such as the Cheesegrater; the impact of Brexit and COVID; the fate of retailers such as BHS; through to the housing crisis. You are adept at developing and delivering world class events that are the most sought out in the UK commercial real estate market. As well as delivering the best speakers and topics, you are experienced in coordinating coverage with the editorial team through words, audio, video, data and pictures. You know how to deliver commercially successful events which engage diverse audiences and you know how to utilise a range of media assets to promote and cover events. You are an enthusiastic and positive team member who likes individual responsibility but also enjoys working in a team.


Responsibilities and expectations

  • Develop commercially viable events based on in-depth market research into the relevant market and topic
  • Identify new and interesting business trends for future events
  • Work closely with sales team to identify revenue opportunities
  • Engage & confirm diverse, high-profile speakers at events in order to attract significant attendance, using established and new networks
  • Write both revenue and strategically-led programmes
  • Produce marketing campaigns, adverts and social media posts, and work closely with the sales, logistics and marketing teams to make sure the conference is successful
  • Work with all internal stakeholders (product & marketing) to ensure all events (online and in person) incorporate where possible additional EG products and services
  • Build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders at EG to deliver on client objectives
  • Meet regularly with industry contacts and keep abreast of other events and industry trends and seek partnerships where they contribute to EG’s ambitions
  • Work with operations to design, implement and project-manage virtual and physical events from initial idea/concept; storyboard curation, internal & external stakeholder management, programme development, through to completion
  • Professionally and effectively represent EG at events and promote the profile and positive image of the organisation with partners, clients and other key stakeholders
  • Work consistently to bring new ideas and develop new strategies to roll out dynamic events so EG stays on the forefront of impactful events within and outside of the industry
  • Work with the marketing team to ensure that opportunities to promote events are maximised across all EG platforms, whilst identifying new opportunities to generate leads for EG data products
  • Actively promote and communicate scale and stages of events and event planning process to the business
