An Events Operative is required for this leading event and exhibition company based near Stratford upon Avon.This is a super opportunity for a practical and hardworking individual, who enjoys working with their hands, and is looking for a role which isn’t 9-5, but offers the chance to travel throughout the UK and occasionally.The Events Operative will be working with a team of experienced Project Managers, on events and exhibitions such as Roadshows and Trade Fairs throughout the UK.Your role as Events Operative will be to assist in the installation and removal of temporary structures, and exhibition/event stands.Duties include:-- Learning and working with the site team at different locations.
  • Using a variety of hand and powered tools.
  • Picking and preparing equipment needed for site.
  • Driving, loading and unloading vehicles.
  • Working on site and in the yard.
  • Painting and cleaning equipment on site and in the yard.
  • Complete set-up and take down in various locations.
    • The successful Events Operative will be:-- Physically fit and able to use hand tools
  • A good team player, with a hardworking attitude
  • Fully permitted to live and work in the UK without restriction
    • Hours are 8am-5pm, but due to the nature of the events industry, some flexibility is required to work outside these hours, and occasional weekends and nights away will be required depending on the project.If this sounds like you, then this could be an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual who is eager to forge a career in the events world
