An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a main contractor working in the commercial sector on new build, refurbishment & Fit-Out projects across the South. Our projects range between £250k - £6m in value and focus on the commercial industrial, motor retail and healthcare sectors

Estimator Duties

Check and confirm receipt of tender documentation.

Produce and coordinate information for tender settlement.

Tender analysis adjudication sheet.

Preliminary breakdown.

Sub-contractors’ comparison.

Identify risks and opportunities.

Consider alternative methods of carrying out works and develop a competitive edge.

Draw together tender information, handing it over in a coherent fashion and ensure buy in from project team.

The Ideal Estimator

Detailed knowledge of traditional and various other methods of construction.

Full understanding of analytical estimating and two stage tenders.

Commercial Background

The ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.

Able to work effectively in a team situation.
