Our global client based in central Glasgow are recruiting a professional and experienced Estimator.

This is a ongoing role for upto 1 year.

Hybrid.

£33ph.

Your responsibilities-

  • Ensure projects are validated, costs assured, data integrity of projects submitted from Delivery Partners
  • Support the development of processes that are fit-for-purpose to achieve the business objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with internal customers and Delivery Partners.
  • Understand and apply the contract in a reasonable manner to the agreement of prices for all projects.
  • Always looking of ways to improve processes.
  • Work with all parties to develop cost models and data to allow continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring costing accuracy is at an acceptable standard whilst minimising any delays to projects.
  • Estimate in line with the BES rules, and best practices/processes including the CESMM and MESMM methods of measurement.
  • Working closely to support colleagues within the estimating and wider commercial team.



About you-

  • Good IT skills, IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint and the ability to adapt to new systems quickly.
  • Construction experience is ideal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience of estimating Civil/MEICA projects.
