Estimator – Facades Location: Fleet Salary: £30,000-£40,000 Hunter Mason’s Client Our client is a specialist commercial glazing company within the construction and building management markets - designing, fabricating, installing, and maintaining glazing products. They are now looking for an estimator, with facades or curtainwall experience to join their ever expanding team. Information on the role:

  • Manage accurate records of tender and contract documents
  • Prepare detailed bills of quantities and work schedules for accurate pricing
  • Compile tender comparisons and consideration
  • Present tenders at settlement meetings with a comprehensive knowledge of the best approach to be taken
  • Offer advice on risk and value engineering options
  • Work closely with supply chains to ensure competitive tenders
  • Contribute to database tenders for historical data and average rates and supply chain databases
  • Develop relationships with consultants and clients
  • Maximise efficiency of services, utilising all resources in conjunction with the Project Managers, and identity problems, taking the relevant action to resolve them What we’d like from you:
  • Experience Estimating projects across a variety of sectors, including the Education, Healthcare, Domestic, Heritage, Commercial, Leisure, & Retail sectors
  • Facades/ Curtainwall experience
  • Exceptional written and spoken English skills
  • Self-motivated personality
  • Attention to detail with a right first-time attitude
  • Organisation and time management skills
  • Trimble experience would be advantageous
