Murray Recruitment have a new full time, permanent position available for an experienced Estimator.

We are working with a social housing contractor who have a new opportunity available to join their already established commercial team based in Paisley.

Main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Preparing bills of quantities using pre- agreed schedule of rates
  • Core business based on the housing federation schedule of rates
  • Ensuring all reports and records are kept up to date.
  • Working as part of the commercial team to ensure the smooth delivery of the service
  • Providing a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction.
  • Take a pro-active approach to ensure concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary.
  • Being fully aware of contractual requirements and customer needs at all times.
  • Ensuring that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents / records are maintained accurately.
  • Working in a safe manner at all times, complying with current Health & Safety legislation and policies.
Skills, Experience And Qualifications Required
  • HNC/ HND qualified within Estimating/ Quantity Surveying or a relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years estimating experience – ideally within a property services/ social housing environment
  • Experienced Estimator with knowledge of large domestic projects would be advantageous.
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent attention to detail
Package
  • £30,000 - £48,000 (negotiable)
  • Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30AM – 5PM
  • 28 Days holiday
  • Pension 3-5% contribution
