A new full-time, permanent position has arisen at our well-established client in Consett, where they are looking for an ESTIMATING ENGINEER to support a busy production team.
Experience gained in a machining type of background is not essential, but would be advantageous as the ideal candidate will be able to accurately forecast the duration of jobs, how long it will take to turn, mill, grind, etc.
You will be calculating job costs, utilising engineering drawings, sourcing materials, subcontracting prices and drafting quotations.
In this exciting and rewarding role you will undoubtedly come from a mechanical engineering background, you will be fully committed to quality, cost and delivery.
