As an Estates Facilities Manager- Inside IR35 your main responsibilities would be:


  • Responsible for the management of facility, including security, maintenance, and other services.
  • Ensuring that the needs of the organisation, employees, and/or visitors are met.
  • Monitor and report on internal performance against safety, costs, programme and quality, identify deviations and implement remedial actions as appropriate.
  • Managing the preparation, approval and issue of technical specifications and safety documentation through review to implementation.
  • Regular liaison with customers and Industry Partners at user level and through to senior management level – attending and chairing liaison meetings.
  • Carrying out quality audits of services provided e.g. catering, cleaning.
  • Raising and progressing maintenance, repair and building project work orders.
  • Completing computer-based returns and updating IT systems.
  • Site visits to construction and repair locations to check progress and liaise with on-site teams.


Qualifications;

Any of the following would be ideal:

  • Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM)
  • Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB)
    • Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)
    • SC Clearance – Desirable
    • Experience of Computer Aided Facilities Management system (CAFM) would be ideal – systems such as Tririga, MICAD, Planon


Experience in the use of the following IT Systems is ESSENTIAL:

  • Microsoft Skills - ESSENTIAL
  • SharePoint - ESSENTIAL
  • Skype - ESSENTIAL
  • Teams – ESSENTIAL

  • Car Driving Licence - ESSENTIAL
