Job Description

As an Estate Assistant, you will provide a high-quality Estate Service, interacting with customers to deliver a professional cleaning, gardening and grounds maintenance service covering Central Sheffield and surrounding areas. This is a permanent role, working Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.

Some of the key duties involved are:

  • Grounds maintenance and gardening work
  • Cleaning internal and external communal area’s
  • Using mechanical cleaning tools
  • Bulk waste removal
  • Bin store/ management
  • Litter picking
  • Representing Guinness on site to customers, colleagues & contractors

About you:

We are looking for someone who has good customer service skills as you will be interacting with our customers and colleagues, and you would be working both within at team and on your own. You will require a full UK driving licence as you will have access to a company vehicle during working hours and a mobile device.

You will also be able to demonstrate the following essential skills:

  • Proven professional experience of delivering grounds maintenance across a variety of sites and garden types
  • Experience and knowledge of lawn, shrub, and plant care
  • Proven experience of achieving high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Ability to carry out physical tasks within Health and Safety guidelines
  • Able to work effectively within a team
  • Ability to use all equipment safely and effectively
  • Ability to work effectively without high levels of supervision
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, including COSHH and PPE

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • 2 years gardening experience
  • Hold a Full clean UK driving licence
Desirable:
• NVQ 2 or 3 in Horticulture or RHS/City & Guilds/HND or equivalent
  • PA1, PA4b and PA6 NPTC Certificates.
