As a member of the Professional Services team, the Senior/Project Manager is responsible for managing the successful deployment of Entrust Security Solutions for Entrust customers. These responsibilities broadly cover the areas of customer relations, internal relations, contracts and sub-contracts management, risk management, quality management, requirements management, schedule management, financial management and project security. The PS team functions in a matrix environment, where cross-functional teams are assembled as needed to deliver projects to end customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with regional sales teams to identify and develop PS opportunities for new and existing customer accounts
  • Provides pre-sales technical and project management expertise by assisting the Account Executive in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications and plans for the development and implementation of customer applications/solutions.
  • Responsible for maximizing revenue and margin for each project by properly positioning PS value

Responsible for end-to-end project management including:

  • Recommending a specific deployment approach and developing a project plan and schedule with the appropriate tasks and deliverables
  • Work with Operations team to establish the project team and the required project infrastructure
  • Manage delivery of the contracted services and deliverables, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction through successful delivery of projects on-time and within budget
  • Standard project management activities in line with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) such as scope, time, cost, quality, issue, risk, contract and subcontract management, and project status tracking and reporting
  • Provide consulting services in relation to the overall deployment of the Entrust solutions
  • Advise customers on a variety of issues including staffing and training, registration models, helpdesk support functioning, operations, and ongoing support
  • Maintain an accurate view of the revenue forecast and project profitability
  • Work with Entrust Finance to ensure timely and accurate invoicing of customers

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • A solid background in customer Project Management.
  • Effective leadership, communication, and customer relations skills.
  • Ability and willingness to work in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Previous experience in a pre and/or post sale position
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Knowledge of Internet Security technology (e.g. network, PKI, policy, VPN, Access control (PMI)).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Entrust products and awareness of competitor product offerings would be an advantage
  • Experience with a security or enterprise software company is desirable
  • A strong technical background in Information Technology Security is desirable
  • PMP and/or CISSP certification is desirable

Additional Job Requirements

  • The candidate must be available to travel both domestically and internationally.
