Location:Manchester or Basel (dependent on applicant location)

Summary:The product marketing specialist will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our products by ensuring that they resonate with customers, stand out in the market, and generate revenue for the business. The role extends to creating comprehensive go-to-market strategies, enabling the sales team, gathering feedback for product improvement, analyzing the competition, and contributing to brand building.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain positioning and messaging for our products, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
  • Create and implement go-to-market strategies, including launch plans, channel strategies, pricing models, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Produce a diverse range of marketing assets to effectively communicate the value proposition of our offering to our target audience.
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns to generate leads and foster product adoption.
  • Implement nurturing campaigns to re-engage customers and drive continued usage.
  • Lead sales enablement efforts, collaborating closely with sales teams to support customer acquisition and retention.
  • Work with product managers to design effective onboarding processes and ensure successful customer usage of our platform and features.
  • Develop and maintain customer profiles, including personas and segmentation strategies, to inform marketing and sales strategies.
  • Drive quality traffic to our website and platforms, focusing on increasing visibility and engagement.
  • Monitor and optimize conversion rates, with a focus on improving lead-to-activation metrics

Qualification

  • 4+ years of product/solution/service marketing experience.
  • Experienced in launching new products or features.
  • Strong understanding of B2B and B2C marketing and sales principles.
  • Ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
  • Ability to create and deliver engaging content including landing pages, blog articles, email, slide decks, and social media – you’re a strong copy writer and visual thinker.
  • Experience with email marketing tools like Hubspot recommended.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Fluent in English). Can grasp technical concepts quickly and simplify these for others.
  • Excellent ability to work cross-functionally with product, sales, and marketing teams – with strong project management skills.
  • Experience with marketing tools and market research tools a plus.

Other: This role may require occasional travel to attend industry events, client meetings, or conferences.
