HGV Class 2 Driver required for an ongoing placement with our well-established client in Shepton Mallett. The company in question are t he southwest’s leading independent logistics company. The role is a Monday to Friday position. Typically starting between 07.00am and 08.00am.

Job role will include:

  • HGV Class 2 multidrop, 8-10 drops per run
  • Deliveries to companies both localised and long distance dependant on run
  • 8-10 hour shifts, 40-45 hours per week
  • Palletised goods, no handball required
  • Ensuring goods are safely secured
  • Making all deliveries with care and attention
  • Completing vehicle defect and maintaining logs
  • Completing delivery paperwork

The Candidate:

  • A valid full category cat C Licence
  • Previous experience required (1 year minimum )
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • Work well with others as part of a team
  • Have good customer service skills and an eye for detail
  • Must have a current CPC and Digi card
  • No more than 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes (no DR/DD/BA offences)
