Are you passionate about sustainable agriculture?

Growing interest in how our food is produced means that sustainable production is a priority for food and farming businesses. Our clients face competing challenges from growing populations and climate change. With the support of the Promar team, you will be conducting a range of consultancy project activities to enable the successful delivery of projects in response to these challenges.

This role operates remotely with a need to travel to see clients and to visit our Stapeley office on occasion.

What will you do as a Senior Environmental Consultant?

  • Manage a portfolio of environmental consultancy projects which drive growth of the Promar Consultancy business
  • Help clients understand their carbon footprint from farm level and develop plans to reduce emissions
  • Support clients in setting and working towards Net Zero targets, including mitigation measures, reducing emissions, and carbon sequestration
  • Secure new projects through networks, customer contact and business development opportunities
  • Work closely with diverse colleagues who are passionate about their work and making a difference in the sustainability of agriculture

Do you have these skills and experience?

  • Relevant degree qualification with experience in agriculture or sustainability
  • Demonstrable experience in advising on aspects of sustainable agriculture
  • Proven track record of working commercially with positive results
  • Demonstrable experience of on-time and on-budget project delivery
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
