Enterprise Architect – £100K + Up To 40% Bonus – Hybrid / Leeds
Overview:
An excellent opportunity has arisen with our client, who are a market leading renewable energy organisation for an experienced Enterprise Architect.
The successful candidate will lead the creation of a systems capability strategy that meets the strategic requirements of the business. This role will be responsible for developing enterprise-wide architecture and processes which ensure that the strategic application of change is embedded in the management of the organisation, ensuring the buy-in of all key stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Work with leadership to develop the target-state architecture, ensuring that the future digital capabilities are aligned with the IT Strategy and meet business goals and strategies
Takes a strategic view across all architecture domains, portfolios, and programmes
Understands and documents business capabilities and identify how these capabilities will change with the business strategy
Work closely with SMEs across IT to support the development of the technology roadmap.
Reviews solution designs to ensure that they are aligned with the enterprise architecture
Carry out initial high-level technical analysis of proposals for new work to ensure appropriate options and impacted teams are identified
Supports the operation of the technical governance processes
Contribute to the development of standards, patterns, guardrails, and reference architectures
Essential Skills & Experience:
Extensive experience across Enterprise and Solution architecture
Expertise in, and proven experience of, delivering modern cloud-native architectures for applications, data and infrastructure
Can identify appropriate commercial and contractual frameworks and approaches needed to support the delivery of target-state Architecture and roadmaps
Experience with Communicating between the technical and non-technical and interpret them. Can effectively manage stakeholder expectations
Experience with using tools such as standards, patterns, guardrails, and principles to effectively govern delivery
Package:
Basic salary: £80K-£100K
Hybrid – Ideally weekly office visits to closest office (Locations in: Leeds, London, Northampton, Ipswich)
Annual discretionary bonus – 20%-40% based on company performance
Pension – employee contribution 5%, employer contribution 10%
