This role is based in Corby Northamptonshire and working hours are annualised to 8hrs per day Monday to Friday between 6 am and 10 pm


The overall purpose of the role

Engineering department. Manufacture of Portable Display Systems


Responsibilities

  • Prepare, Manufacture, Assemble, Finish, and Pack Portable Display Systems
  • Ensuring that Quality Processes and Standard Operating Procedures are adhered to throughout.
  • Effectively manage and maintain workstation.
  • Familiarise yourself with, and diligently adhere to current Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Must be able to interpret Engineering drawings.
  • Must be able to follow written instructions and follow cutting guides.
  • Have the confidence to utilize various equipment, for example, Saws, pillar drills, punch, and hand tools.
  • Must have the ability to stock check materials used and report all low stock issues.

  • Have the confidence to STOP and HIGHLIGHT any quality concerns, or any health and Safety issues.
  • Ability to adapt to undertake various operations within the Production Department as and when required.
  • Desirable but not essential formal Engineering or trade qualification.
  • GCSE Maths, English NVQ, City, and Guilds equivalent.
  • A flexible, positive, and resilient individual with a ‘can-do attitude
