Engineering Team Leader

Salary: £52,500

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Leading and growing a team of engineers
  • Supporting the creation of engineering and project plans
  • Successful project execution and delivery against schedules
  • Tracking progress and reporting
  • Adherence to project and business processes and governance
  • Helping to build strong and enduring customer relationships
  • Facilitating innovation and improvement ideas
  • Managing and balancing risk with change initiatives
Essential Skills

Your skills and experiences:
  • Experience in engineering delivering IT and information systems projects, ideally for the MoD
  • Track record of working through an engineering lifecycle and governance
  • Facilitating the breakdown of tasks and estimation activities
  • Developing an effective organisation structure and associated performance management
  • Execution of a plan, meeting customer milestones and achieving shared success
  • Understanding of security architectures, IT systems and systems integration and accreditation processes
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of Military IT Systems and Networks
  • Safety, security background
