Overall Purpose

Job Description

To undertake a 2 year apprenticeship, including the successful completion of:
  • BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Building Services Engineering (HVAC)
  • Associated level NVQ portfolio
  • Functional Skills L2 in Communication, Numeracy and IT (if required)
The role holder will undertake a series of project based work placements, rotating through the Engineering Services departments, including Technical Support, System Design, Technical Liaison, Technical Services & Standards

Key Deliverables
  • Pre and Post Sales Product Technical Support via telephone and email
  • Domestic central heating system design and specification
  • New product market launch activities and assisting after sales 3rd level technical support
Qualifications
  • Educated to A Level or equivalent standard in Maths or English and a technology or science related topic
  • A working knowledge of common IT products and tools such as MS Office
  • Ability to take instructions and work with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a team
  • Flexible to support the business and customer requirements
  • Honest, trustworthy and friendly
  • Clean driving licence or ability to get to College independently
