We are currently looking for an Engineering Sales Specialist.

Your main responsibility includes the intensive development of the network with planning offices, general contractors and building owners as well as the preparation of tenders with the Victaulic product portfolio for technical building equipment, focused on key accounts with national or international projects

Job responsibilities:

  • Identification of major projects and early consultation of involved planning offices on Victaulic solutions and products
  • Intensive cooperation at all decision-making levels with the defined key accounts in the sales area
  • Customer training and consulting in the following areas are part of the daily routine:
  • Product advantages / increase in efficiency of construction sites / added value for the building owner.
  • Individual solutions of different trades with tender texts
  • Support of the specialist planners when using different software (Revit, Plancal, Microstation, AutoCAD)
  • Cost-benefit comparison to traditional methods and budget calculations
  • Competitor comparisons and analyses
  • Documentation of project participants and deadlines in CRM Salesforce
  • Regular coordination on national/international projects with the associated sales team and regional managers
  • Memberships in industry associations are desired and encouraged

Qualifications :

  • Degree in engineering or completed training with several years of professional experience in building services
  • Experience in the flow of planning and execution processes
  • Self-confident appearance and good presentation skills are expected and determine the daily routine
  • Willingness to travel within the sales region and overnight stays due to evening events are required
  • Team player mentality for coordination & target-oriented communication in the region
  • Technical affinity for new product portfolios and curiosity for market trends and standards
  • Independent weekly/monthly/annual planning and execution of activities required to achieve targets
