Engineering Project Manager

BRN Recruitment are currently looking for an Engineering Project Manager to assist the Local Authority in Rotherham.

Responsibilities

You will be working as part of the Strategic Transport Team in supporting the service’s transport projects and management. Your duties include planning and designing the project, managing the project’s budget, bid writing, ensuring effective quality assurance, and managing risks to the project’s success.

Experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in highways design/engineering/transport planning experience.
  • A Diploma/NQV/Degree in Civil Engineering/Planning is essential.
  • A good knowledge of project and project management methods such as MSP and PRINCE 2 is required.
  • Must have good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling projects as well as the procurement process.
