The apprentice will gain experience in all aspects of Machine work including operating:

  • Schuco, AF310 CNC Machine Centre (steel sections)
  • Schuco, PDG 400, Saw (cutting steel profiles)
  • CARIF 260 BSA Semi-Automatic Mitre Bandsaw (cutting steel profiles)

Ensuring they adhere to strict health and safety standards whilst doing so.

The apprentice will also gain experience in:

  • Forklift (age dependant)
  • Stock control
  • Distribution of materials to skilled workers

  • Excellent attendance and timekeeping, reliable and flexible to business needs
  • Health and safety aware
  • The selected candidate must have a keen eye for detail

Desired qualifications

  • Ideally hold GCSE maths and English to grade 4 /C Functional skills level 2

  • Must be able to provide evidence of grades to gain entry onto the apprenticeship
