required to lead and manage a team of multi skilled engineers within a fast-paced food environment based in North Lincolnshire. £55,000

As the Engineering Manager you will be managing a team of 10 people to include Engineering Team Leaders, Engineering Administrator and an Engineering Planner and a team of 6 Maintenance Engineers across 3 shifts

Key Responsibilities Of Engineering Manager

Preparing an effective engineering strategy to meet operational requirements.

Managing the maintenance budget.

Overseeing the PPM system.

Implementing improvement projects across the site and driving a proactive culture within the team.

Directing and co-ordinating engineering activities.

People and performance monitoring.

The Engineering Manager Will Have Demonstrable Experience Of

Managing an Engineering department in a complex and fast moving environment

Devising, developing and implementing engineering systems and procedures to drive and improve operational efficiencies, productivities and capability.

Coaching, motivating and developing a team to improve colleague engagement and meet the increasing demands of a growing business.

Able to challenge the norm and drive change.

The management of an engineering budget.

Cost control and reduction.

The development and use of Engineering KPI’s to identify key variances from budget on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

Identifying opportunities for improvements and implementing continuous improvement measures.

Qualifications Required

City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent.

City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent.
