Mission and Main Objectives:
Support the Trim and Chassis department to provide engineering support in the day to day running of our current model lineup. With daily Technical concerns occurring you will lead investigations and implement containment for technical vehicle concerns. Working closely with Production and other sections to implement process improvements and design changes.

Outline and Responsibilities:
  • Lead shop technical improvement activities, QTF, DPU, and VES
  • Implement key changes to the current manufacturing process
  • Generating and assuring process documentation
  • Mechanical tooling design (Training can be provided)
  • Process confirmation, design change planning and adoption
  • Assembly sequence and process change
Experience and Qualifications Required:
  • Engineer – Degree or equivalent experience
  • Bridging Engineer - already working towards an Engineering HNC or Degree
  • A good understanding of APW, and Douki Seisan principles
  • Strong cross functional skills
  • Self-motivated. Able to work autonomously with a flexible, hands-on approach
  • Good computer skills with a working knowledge of MS Office
  • Experience of CAD systems AutoCAD / NX / Catia (Or capability to learn)
  • Good communication skills, written & verbal
