The main areas of focus for this role is to undertake and manage construction and building projects as required, including regular maintenance of the factory, offices and other buildings on site as well as roads, drains and services.

Your Tasks

  • Act as the first line of contract for repairs and maintenance work on site and arrange and monitor, in relation to quality, cost and safety.
  • Plan and lead or assist in designated construction projects ensuring completion on time and within budget, including preparation and monitoring of estimates and costs.
  • Provide recommendations for increasing plant efficiency and cost effectiveness.
  • Act as the main point of contact to external service providers, as well as appointed building, maintenance or engineering contractors.
  • Monitor and assess the impact of forthcoming developments in terms of change in safety matters and operational processes.

Our Requirements

  • HNC, HND or degree in a relevant field or suitable construction related experience.
  • Supervisory and Management experience essential.
  • Knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislation.
  • Intermediate standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy required.
  • Well organised and efficient.
