Summary

We are currently recruiting for a Job Coach within the Wiltshire Employment Support Team.

LIVE∙WORK∙SUPPORT

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months, with a view to extending further, pending funding agreement, working on a flexible basis, that can include evenings and/or weekends. On the job support happens when the customer is working, so this varies.

Based in either Devizes or Chippenham, with a view to covering the whole county if required.

About The Role

The role of Job Coach assists young people and adults with disabilities to obtain and sustain paid employment. Supporting the process from initial meeting, through identifying skills, the application process, imbedding onto the workforce, on the job coaching and finally review to stability in the role.

You will support young people and adults with special educational needs, disabilities, autism and aspersers to find and sustain paid employment.

Approaching employers in Wiltshire is a big part of the role, negotiating employment opportunities, agreeing reasonable adjustments and selling the service to recruiting managers.
