JOB PURPOSE

Working with all Health employers, you will take forward a highly professional and successful Traineeship and Apprenticeship agenda whilst maximising learner retention that meet local, regional and national skills priorities. You will manage an existing portfolio of SME’s and strategic Traineeship and Apprenticeship partners and accounts whilst working as part of a larger team responsible for delivering the employer journey for the Traineeship and Apprenticeship element of the account. You will report to the Head of Apprenticeship Sales and Recruitment and will work to develop and maintain the college’s vision for a highly successful and high-quality Traineeship and Apprenticeship Hub operation that will position Weston College strongly for future income generation.

KEY TASKS/DUTIES

As post-holder, you will be responsible to your line manager for the following

  • Highly focussed proactive and professional Apprenticeship employer engagement ensuring that all Apprenticeship employers meet the Weston College employer threshold whilst ensuring you meet both challenging growth targets and quality standards.
  • Account manage SME’s and strategic Health employers in line with account management strategy and develop long term relationships with clients and employers maximising repeat business opportunities across Traineeships and Apprenticeships.
  • Attend monthly account management meetings with key accounts, providing the latest data, progression, and achievement. Leading on providing the key trends with employers.
  • Conducting training needs analysis to support work force planning with employers to fully understand their training needs and referring to the relevant channels across the College for other business opportunities outside of Traineeships and Apprenticeships.
  • To manage in line with the employer threshold all Traineeship and Apprenticeship referrals received from Business Managers. Jointly working to ensure all employer enrolments are coordinated internally in the Apprenticeship Hub ready to transfer the Apprentice/learner enrolments to the Learner on-boarding team.
  • To ensure the Digital Apprenticeship Account is managed effectively and to accurately receive timely payments for both Levy and non-Levy Apprenticeship employers, ensuring all documentation is recorded for validation.
  • To ensure Traineeship and Apprenticeship audit and compliance requirements are met at all times.
  • Feedback on LMI and market opportunities and work with Head of Apprenticeship on-Boarding, Business Growth and the wider curriculum teams to develop a business case for new provision that is cost effective and deliverable meeting minimum contribution, which is authorised by the Standard Implementation Group.
  • Provide monthly employer progress report to each key account, demonstrating accuracy, highlighting progression and achievement tracking.
