Employee Benefits Client Service Advisor - Mercer Marsh Benefits– Glasgow

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a client focused individual with a background in the Employee Benefits industry, to join a high-performing team.

Whilst previous experience would be ideal, we would also be willing to consider applications from candidates with transferrable client facing skills, from within the Banking, Financial Service or Insurance sector, including Pensions Administration.

Elect is a Health and Wealth benefits solution broker which is a small umbrella within Mercer, part of Marsh and McLennan companies. Due to the large scale of the business, we have a wealth of knowledge in the industry and can offer our clients bespoke and competitive rates so that they can offer their employees a comprehensive wellbeing package. The client market we work in is small to medium enterprises and currently have 3000 clients that we service throughout the year

We are looking for a positive and pro-active candidate with excellent communication and collaboration skills who can form part of this successful and friendly team. This is a great opportunity for any successful candidate to have a varied role and build solid working relationships with internal and external parties.

We are looking for someone with strong customer service skills who can manage and develop their own portfolio of clients

What you will be rewarded with?

We will rely on you to:

  • Maintain and develop internal client relationships
  • Communicate and negotiate with insurers and monitor insurers performance on behalf of clients
  • Understand client needs and meet operational objectives
  • Adhere to review/ renewal timelines
  • E-filing and e-filing maintenance of relevant client documentation
  • Ensure delivery to clients’ requirements in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Ensure that new business targets are met
  • Completion and maintenance of HB Broker and use to plan, manage and monitor client activity within own portfolio

What you need to have:

  • Previous and/or current experience working within a client facing role in the Banking, Financial Services, Insurance or Employee Benefits industry
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to multi-task and manage a number of different clients
  • Experience of working within a target driven environment
