You will engage with Elanco IT teams and our vendors to ensure internally and externally sourced IT services and infrastructure projects are delivered in accordance with internal IT Standards and in line with industry best practices.Responsibilities:IT Site Operations is at the heart of the global IT organization ensuring the ‘rubber hits the road’ on Elanco’s growing digital investments positioned on modern IT architecture. The key responsibilities for this role include:- Sit across both Site Operations and TechOps to:
- represent local needs to global Infrastructure in variety of operational and project forums,
- own deployment of global Infrastructure projects which are rolled out into the region,
- Own and coordinate large impact infrastructure projects and initiatives,
- Provide expertise for all Infrastructure Services eg Service Desk, Workplace, Mobility, Network, Platforms, Data Centers and Security to help and advise the EMEA IT Site Operations team,
- Understand Commercial office locations and their specific infrastructure setups to support local IT Analysts in delivering smooth operations for their local business areas,
- Drive adoption and standardization of global service templates and processes wherever possible,
- Support continuously IT service management improvement,
- Broad oversight of service providers performance in region ensuring they deliver reliable, quality IT services;
- Bachelor’s degree, in Computer/Technology related area (preferred) or proven experience working in Information Technology
- Minimum five years’ experience in the implementation and support of IT infrastructure
- Demonstrated ability to proactively identify issues and either resolve or escalate to the appropriate level for resolution
- Deep IT infrastructure experience (e.g. network, telephony, end-user device)
- Knowledge & experience of ITIL processes
- Experience with vendor management
- Demonstrated ability to influence peers and business partners
- Strong analytical, problem solving and investigative skills
- Experience in Animal Health or similar regulated industry
- Worker Type: Flexible = work does not require a specific location or specialized equipment and can work successfully and productively across an ecosystem of different locations to support convenience, functionality, flexibility, and well-being. Flexible workers are expected to come on-site about half the time
- 0-10% travel
