We are looking for a Finance Analyst to join our Finance team for EMC Partnership Markets on a full-time permanent basis at GSK House.

Our finance hubs are centres of expertise that work together as a “One Finance” team to share best practices and knowledge.

We are looking for an experienced Finance Analyst to work closely as a team and develop close relationship with peers, colleagues, and stakeholders, including outsource providers and/or strategic partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partnering with the BPO and C&C teams ensuring customer issues are identified and promptly resolved and proactively identifying any issues or risks to the service.
  • Prepare the required market Balance Sheet Reconciliations and resolution of open items, assess BS healthiness and surface risks to be addressed.
  • Support period end financial closing activities and ensure efficient & effective close is performed, including preparation of complex accruals where required
  • Drive the closure of open issues and escalations for internal and external customers, ensuring preventative measures are in place to prevent re-occurrence
  • Ensuring full compliance with relevant market SOX and ICFW requirement
  • Produce routine analyses, schedules and summaries for internal & external customers
  • Prepare audit deliverables as required
  • Proactively identify and contribute towards service improvements recommendations
  • Role covers the EMC Partnership geographical cluster in the Pharma Segment of GSK.

  • Accounting qualification
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in similar roles, including previous experience in accounting area
  • Experience in financial reporting
  • Experience in financial department in an international environment
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • SAP experience will be a strong asset
  • Calm under pressure and able to manage competing demands
  • Credible and comfortable working with senior management
  • Able to see the big picture and think beyond immediate area of responsibility
  • Ability to work independently and within the team
  • Client-centric attitude
  • Outside of the box thinking and problem-solving skills
