LOCATION OF WORK: Fully remote working IR35 STATUS: Outside of IR35 THE PROJECT: A well-funded start-up company with ambitious plans for the Smart Energy sector require a Firmware Engineer to join them for an initial 3 month contract. You will be tasked with deploying FreeRTOS and AWS IoT Device SDK to a microcontroller. Other aspects of the role will require you to use the AWS jobs facility for pushing OTA firmware upgrades, AWS Shadow feature for field configuration, and publishing data to the AWS cloud. If you would like the chance to work on a greenfield project at the early stages of development, where you will be given a great deal of autonomy and ownership of the firmware tasks then this project will be ideally suited to you.
