We are looking for an experienced senior Electronics Test Engineer to join the growing Engineering department in a well-established and growing Contract Electronics Manufacturer in the North West. We are ideally looking for candidates who have similar experience in the electronics manufacturing industry, fault finding and repairing complex circuit board assemblies.

Electronics Test Engineer Position Overview;
  • Testing of PCBs with a variety of equipment, including ATE, DMMs & Oscilloscopes
  • Identifying PCB faults
  • Comfortable with complex schematics
  • In-depth Datasheet & component knowledge
Specific Knowledge May Include
  • Intermediate electronics theory
  • Operating DMMs, Signal generators, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies & Functional ATE
  • Microcontroller functionality, including programming using various software & hardware tools
  • Communication protocols, such as RS232 & I2C
Desirable Skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
  • Working independently with good time keeping
  • Confidence when communicating with customers
  • Comfortable with a soldering iron
  • Methodical & analytical approach

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £26,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
