Our client based in Elland are looking for an electricians mate to commit to work on a 6 - 7 month contract assisting their engineers with the cleaning and re fitting of electrical equipment at a large power station in North Yorkshire. The successful candidate will need to sit a safety passport course (1 Day) prior to starting. THE ROLE:-Assisting with dismantling, cleaning and fitting relays
  • Working in a team of 2 + people
  • Ensuring the work assigned to you is completed efficiently, each day
  • Adhering to strict health and safety regulations THE CANDIDATE:
  • Must have some site work experience/Electricians Mate/Maintenance assistance
  • Must hold a UK Drivers license (you will be required to drive the team to the power station from Elland each day using company vehicle)
  • You DO NOT need experience of this specific role/duties
  • Experience of using power tools and hand tools THE SALARY AND BENEIFTS
  • Must arrive at Elland for 6:30 to get to the power station for 7:30 - you will finish the job at 16:30 but arrive back to Elland for 17:30 Monday to Friday
  • You will be paid 2 hours each day at overtime for travel
  • Company Vehicle - provided for work use
  • £11.50 per hour basic, time and one half for overtime
  • This contract will come to an end at the end of August 2023
