Based at: The Redwoods Centre, Shrewsbury, SY3 8DS

Salary: £21,892 - £24,157 (Band 4) plus on-call allowance

MPFT are looking for an electrician who would like to work within the field of property maintenance in the NHS and join the in-house maintenance team. The candidate will have a good knowledge of building electrical systems.

Duties cover a range of building electrical work including planned and breakdown maintenance, servicing, specialist testing, fault finding and repair of equipment and installation work. You will work on your own and as part of the maintenance team to achieve shared goals.

The job is based in Shrewsbury but the role requires travel to Trust maintained sites throughout Shropshire. You will have access to a vehicle for work purposes and must possess a driving license.

You must have the ability and willingness to work flexible hours including overtime and call outs as workload demands for which additional payments will apply.

You must possess the relevant formal electrical qualifications and be conversant with current electrical regulations.

You will meet and deal with a variety people including staff, service users and visitors and therefore must have excellent customer service skills and be able to communicate effectively with our customers.
