Salary: £32,993 per annum + vehicle and fuel card + put of hours payments

Permanent

Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm 40 hours per week (Plus Out of Hours Rota)

Basic DBS Required

Clean driving licence required

Interview date: 19th August 2021 (Northampton) and competency test (TBA)

We currently have an opportunity for an Electrician to join our dedicated team in the Midlands.

Job Requirements:
Carry out quality and efficient building repairs to both unoccupied and occupied properties, working safely and respecting customers at all times.
Build and maintain effective relationships with Customers.
Manage time effectively.
Plan and prioritise your own workload
Working at heights is a vital part of the role (You must physically be able to carry out competently the duties of an operative)

We really want to hear from you if;

Have experience in either Social Housing or Domestic repairs including fault finding, repairs, tests & upgrade to occupied & unoccupied properties
Have experience in Inspection and Testing and a good understanding of completing an EICR ideally ‘on line’
Have experience of housing maintenance/ remedial works and have experience of Decent Homes Kitchen and Bathroom programmes.
You will be qualified to Level 3 Electro technical studies C&G 2330 or equivalent, (time served), 18th Edition (C&G 2382), and Inspection & Testing (C&G 2391 or suitable equivalent).
You have a full clean driving licence

BS5839 Parts1,4 & 5 Part P Building Regs
Asbestos awareness training
Microsoft Office skills
Use of tablet/laptop
A strong knowledge of building repairs
Knowledge of housing management systems
Technical knowledge of electro technologies, fixed wiring systems, maintenance and testing procedures
Experience of carrying out building repairs
Experience of carrying out ‘Decent Homes’ Kitchen & Bathroom works
Experience of using mobile technology
Working in void and tenanted properties
