Our client is seeking an Electrician on an initial 6 Month contract with the likelihood of an extension.

Working Hours And Pay Rate

Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00. At a pay rate of £20.00 p/h LTD.

Job Purpose

We are seeking a motivated person to join our In-House Repairs Team to carry out full rewires in tenanted properties across the district.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

To carry out electrical work associated with the repairs, maintenance and adaptation of Council properties. To undertake all work to a competent recognised standard and current regulation, with minimal risk to the health and safety of all those it may affect.

Skills And Experience

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation Work or City and Guilds 2360 Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation) certificate or recognised industry equivalent. City and Guilds 2382 (17th Edition) certificate or recognised industry equivalent City and Guilds 2391 (Inspection, Testing and Certification) certificate or recognised industry equivalent Working knowledge of health and safety legislation and good practice Experience of driving a transit-type van. Experience of using a mobile phone. Experience of operating a PDA (personal digital assistant) or similar. Experience of dealing with potentially volatile situations. Experience of working face to face with members of the public.
