Working Hours

This role is based on our Night Shift pattern: Sunday - Thursday - 41 Hours per week

Sunday - 22:00 - 06:05

Monday - Thursday - 21:50 - 06:05

Our Mix That Awaits You
  • Installation/ Maintenance of machinery/equipment in accordance with Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, IEE 18th Edition Electrical Regulations, The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 plus any other specific standard deemed appropriate to task being undertaken.
  • To follow set procedures for permit to work, job recording, fire alarm muting, Health & Safety and Hygiene set systems of work.
  • Programming / diagnostic monitoring of PLC controlled systems.
  • To maintain all machinery to the standard expected within a food environment.
  • The continuous improvement of all production/packaging machinery.
  • Preventative maintenance & Breakdown maintenance
  • The construction and installation of electrical control panels and systems.
  • Fault diagnostics and repair of existing systems/equipment.
  • Maintaining electrical services throughout the factory and offices.
  • Understanding and complying with the requirements of the Environmental Management System (EMS) and the Environmental Permit to the extent it affects your role.
Ingredients That You Bring With You
  • Previous installation and commissioning work experience - essential
  • Extensive PLC experience - highly desirable
  • Breakdown and fault-finding experience - desirable
  • Fully completed apprenticeship - essential
  • Multi skilled - desirable
  • Previous Food Manufacturing experience - preferred
  • Qualified in IEE 18th Edition Electrical Regulations
