The role

As an Electrical Technician, you’ll have a role that is out of the ordinary, delivering specialist technical maintenance support and services for Ministry of Defence (MoD) trails.

Day-to-day, you’ll:
Deliver general electrical engineering support, problem solving and technical advice to stakeholders

Provide support across a range of equipment maintenance, planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance relating to trials delivery tasks

Lead in the set up of infrastructure for trails with considerations to health, safety and environmental procedures and processes

Working arrangements are full-time, 37 hours per week, based onsite at the West Freugh Range,

Essential experience of the Elecrical Engineering:
You’ll need experience of electrical engineering or electrical maintenance

The ideal candidate will have experience with maintenance schedules, installation, commissioning and problem solving

An aptitude for varied work and hands-on learning.

Qualifications for the Electrical Engineering:
Relevant experience through an HNC, apprenticeship or time served in a relevant role
