We are recruiting a Wind Turbine Technician to join our team in Aberdeen. In this position, you will be responsible for installing components, carrying out maintenance, diagnosing faults and generating reports on ENERCON wind turbines.

Working as part of a 2-person team, you will travel around our sites within the region visiting different wind farms. The Wind Turbine Technician will be climbing the turbines on a daily basis so will need to be comfortable working at heights, however full training is provided.

We are looking for a proactive, motivated and resourceful team player for this challenging and exciting position. The ability to work to strict deadlines and finish work to the highest standard is required. From time to time, we may require you to travel around the UK to assist other teams during busy periods.

Main Roles, Responsibilities & Expectations

Climbing Wind Turbines

You must hold at minimum level 3 electrical qualification; ideally, you will be a time served apprentice

Experienced in commercial and/or industrial electrics

Fault finding and reporting on electrical equipment

Inspection and testing of electrical components and systems

Adhere to all relevant health and safety requirements

Experience with maintenance schedules

Ensuring completion of all electrical maintenance schedules on time.

Produce accurate and detailed reports.

Carry out risk assessments and method statements when and where necessary

A full UK driving license is essential

Excellent health and fitness levels are essential for this role

Please be aware the Wind Turbine Technician role will be based on a shift rotation and may involve periods staying away from home.
