The role

The purpose of this role is to ensure the management of electrical trade operatives, renewable operatives, and subcontracted labour within the agreed project areas is controlled and in line with all company HS&E policies and current legislative requirements.

It has the following main responsibilities;

Manage the operational delivery within agreed budgets, objectives and targets

Ensure maximum productivity of Electrical and other trade operatives to maximise profitability for the business

Develop and maintain excellent levels of communication with all contract team members and operatives.

Ensure Quality Control audits as per Electrical Compliance requirements are carried out, along with post inspections of completed works

Ensuring company compliance and providing all necessary documentation for annual NICEIC inspections

What we need

For this role you’ll need to have the following skills and experience;

18th Edition

NVQ level 3 in Electrotechnical technology/Installation or recognised qualification

Inspection & Testing qualification

Management/supervisory experience

Excellent on-site supervision of operatives/contractors

Excellent H&S knowledge

Experience in social housing

Knowledge of this role’s industry best practice to an intermediate/ advanced level and experienced in how to use this knowledge to ensure high standards and safe practices

Please note due to health and safety reasons, all operatives wear RPE and so we operate under a clean-shaven policy.

Please note: The role requires anyone entering a CQC care home to be fully COVID vaccinated. If successful, we will require proof of your vaccination record, unless you are exempt for medical reasons or have personal reasons for not having the vaccination(s).
