We are searching for an Electrical Plant Supervisor to work on a client’s process facility in Didcot as well as supporting others in the South East area. We’re looking for people who are committed to improving the company and themselves for the future. An individual with the ambition to develop, and contribute to get it the projects right.The company has been providing its petrochemical products and services in over 45 countries around the world, for more than eight decades. The successful individual will mainly work at the Manchester plant, but service other smaller satellite facilities at customer sites around the North West, as and when required.Responsibilities:Inspect, find faults, repair, and carry out pre-planned maintenance on electrical and associated process equipmentWork on electrical isolation and switching of electrical equipment at LV and HV up to 11kVOperate and control process equipment on the production sites; including troubleshooting and working using the remote service centreCarry out routine checks and testing on process equipment and products.Prepare and review site work instructions, procedures, workplace risk assessmentsStart-up and shutdown process plant and equipment to meet customer demands whilst optimising the site’s operational capacityRespond service to out of hours emergency callsExperience and Education Requirements:Electrical apprenticeship or qualifications, authorisation of HV & LV switchingOil & Gas, Pharma, Water, Chemical, Gas process industry experience, gained within the electrical maintenance departmentExperience working as a supervisor or capable of stand-alone management of site maintenance for electrical systems.Experience and ability to prepare and review RAMS (Risk assessment/Method statement).Experienced in reading electrical drawings, Schematics, Electrical Single Line diagrams and P&IDsAbility to read and interpret documents including, operating, and manufacturing instructions and procedure manualsIf you are interested in this role please apply with a covering email stating your level of experience and potential availability for employment.Reference D&M - (phone number removed)Role
