Our client is an established electrical contractor in the commercial fit-out sector. They work with several office fit-out companies in London and the Home Counties on electrical projects up to £2 million in value.

They are seeking an experienced project manager to oversee projects in London, the Home Counties and The Thames Valley. The role can be as a contract PM or a full-time PAYE position, depending on the preference of the individual.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include running projects from commencement to handover, overseeing site managers, trades staff, subcontractors and agency labour. You will be in control of all labour and material costs, ensuring projects are profitable and handed over to the satisfaction of the client.

It is a customer facing role, so the ability to build trustworthy relationships with existing and new clients is an essential ingredient to continued success. Good Health & Safety measures are also essential, so the monitoring of ECS subcontractors and ensuring tool box talks are regularly undertaken, is another key responsibility.

Location and Benefits

The role is based in the central office but is also flexible, with the ability to work from home and on site. You will be provided with a company phone and laptop along with a mileage allowance and full travelling expenses for projects in Central London.The PAYE position will offer holiday pay (21 days + Bank Holidays) company pension scheme and full travel and subsistence allowance (more information on request).
