To continue their growth & remarkable market share they are looking to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Operator to join one of their high performing teams. The Role: You will support site operational activity by operating and maintaining several workstations, or one area at an advanced level. This role will give you the opportunity to actively improve asset reliability by exercising your technical and electrical skills to improve performance, quality and drive a continuous improvement culture in your area. You will use your experience of LEAN manufacturing and Root Cause Analysis to create first time fixes, you will use your keen eye for detail to ensure all revenant documentation is completed at the required standard, as well as ensuring the products are produced to the highest quality standards and in an efficient manner. The Person:
  • Ideally have completed a recognised apprenticeship - preferably in Electrical Maintenance
  • Hold a HNC minimum in an electrical engineering discipline or equivalent
  • You have proven experience of working within a fast paced, customer focused FMCG company and knowledge of World Class Best Maintenance practices.
  • To be able to demonstrate practical, hands-on experience of working with PLC equipment
  • You are ambitious to succeed, career minded with a focus on delivery and results.
  • You are familiar with working in a culture of continuous improvement where demonstrable results have been achieved by the engineering or maintenance function.
  • You will have a proactive mindset with the ability to motivate yourself to achieve your own and the company objectives
  • You will be a strong team player who is flexible and adaptable in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
