Manpower is supporting one of the UK’s most well-known food manufacturers in their search for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer. Based at facility near to Swadlincote, they’re looking to expand one of the site’s key teams.

They’re the name behind some of our favourite brands and have a great reputation for investing in their employees. Their Engineering Team is full of top talent, and this could be your opportunity to join them as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer.

In this pivotal role, as Electrical Maintenance Engineer your key tasks will include:

· Ensuring that site equipment – such as bagging machines, weighers, automated machinery and frying machines – can operate with maximum efficiency

· Responding to reactive breakdowns to get things up and running as quickly as possible

· Supporting with the preventative maintenance schedule

· Helping to train and educate the production teams to get the best out of the equipment

As the site manufactures 24 hours a day, this is a 3-shift based role across Monday to Friday – 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00, 22:00-06:00, with 1 weekend in 3 on a call rota.

In return for your skills and experience, the business is offering a salary that is above the market average (you can also boost your income with overtime if you’d like).

This role will suit an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer that possesses:

· Experience within the FMCG sector as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer (or Multi-Skilled Engineer with good electrical skills)

· 17th or 18th Edition certification

· Working knowledge of PLCs
