You will undertake all new installation work and modification work to existing highways products. You don’t have to have Traffic Industry experience but we are looking for people with electrical experience, someone who’s a quick learner and enjoys working on site. We offer a great opportunity to continue to develop your knowledge and skills, formal and informal product and industry training and progression within a genuinely supportive and friendly depot.What will you do?
  • Installation of traffic signal assets, ancillary equipment and/or other highways systems such as controllers, ANPR cameras, EV equipment and other traditional signalling products.
  • Undertake training with the addition of new equipment and systems as and when necessary, via formal and informal training.
  • Liaising with customers and other contractors that may be on site when needed
  • Ensuring works are completed to the site specification, in a timely manner and to a good standard
  • Out of hours working to support contract requirements
  • Learning new skills and techniques enabling you to progress and develop your career with us

  • You enjoy working outside and comfortable working at heights
  • You’re willing to work overtime and be on a rota for on call/emergency work
  • You need to be able to drive with a UK license as the job comes with a van to get to sites
  • Experience of installation of electrical equipment in an industrial environment is ideal
