If so, our esteemed client is currently seeking an Electrical Installation Engineer to join their dedicated team.About the Company: Our client is a leading company in the field of Control Systems for Process Control, Automation, and Telemetry. They value their team members and invest in their personal and professional development.Role Responsibilities: As an Electrical Installation Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for surveying, installing, commissioning, and supporting site-based control systems and equipment for our client’s key customers. The role will predominantly focus on electrical tasks, with opportunities to gain experience in PLC programming (training provided). The candidate may work independently, with another engineer, or as part of a team. It will be their responsibility to ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard within agreed deadlines.While most of the work will fall within standard working hours, this operational role requires flexibility and may involve extensive travel to sites (up to a maximum of 3 hours away). Some time away from home can be expected but is not planned to exceed 20% of the working week. Hotels will be provided for any commute times over 1.5 hours.Requirements: To succeed in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and experience:- A minimum of 2 years of practical experience and a solid understanding of electrical diagrams for control panel wiring or electrical installation.
  • Self-motivation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Desirable qualifications/experience/knowledge:
  • Electrical qualifications C&G, BTEC, NVQ3, ONC, or HNC/HND, 18th edition required.
  • Previous experience in a service & support, electrical installation, or maintenance role.
  • Electrical design skills using EPlan, AutoCAD, or equivalent software would be advantageous.
  • Control panel design, manufacture, or electrical installation experience.
  • Knowledge or experience with PLCs such as Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, or Siemens.
  • Knowledge or experience of telemetry outstations and/or ADSL/3G/4G routers.
  • Experience in equipment installation and commissioning.
