Job Title: Electrical Engineer/ TechnicianLocation: Cullompton, DevonSalary: £33,500 per annumHours: Monday - Friday 08.00-16.30 with call out and 1 in 4 weekendsOur very well established client in Cullompton have an exciting opportunity for a Electrical Engineer/ Technician to join their team on a permanent basis.JOB SCOPECompleting all daily checks of Electrical/Instrument equipment and report findings in a timely and professional manner and respond to machine breakdowns within a designated area of responsibility, in a timely and professional manner in accordance with Health and Safety policies and procedures.The RoleThe role will involve working within a team of Engineers and responding to breakdown maintenance, preventative maintenance schedules, production improvement programmes and day to day site maintenance. Reporting to the Electrical Manager, the Electrical Technician will be responsible for completing both Electrical and Instrumentation engineering tasks. Where necessary, training will be given on any specific site equipment.Person SpecificationWe are looking for a candidate that is preferably ONC qualified, but not essential, and time served with knowledge and experience of:
  • Three phase electrical systems
  • Analog current loops
  • Hydraulic systems
  • Pneumatic systems
  • Industrial environments
  • An understanding of PLC and DCS systems is desirable, but not essential.
