CK Group are recruiting for an Electrical Engineer on behalf of a rapidly expanding Pharmaceutical CDMO to be based in their brand new facilities in Middlesbrough on a permanent basis.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Ensure regulatory compliance for electrical equipment.
- Lead the development of site engineering standards, for electrical equipment.
- Ensure inspections are scheduled in keeping with regulations.
- Carry out load assessments and cable calculations for new equipment.
- Update wiring drawings and schematics.
- Maintain a database of electrical systems and ensure remedial actions are prioritised.
- Making and influencing decisions regarding maintenance regimes to maximise uptime, throughput, quality, and yieldand optimise expenditure.
- Preparing Capital Proposals for investments within the area of expertise.
Your Background:
- Degree level in Electrical Engineering, preferably chartered status
- Relevant electrical engineering experience in the chemical or pharmaceutical industries.
- Experience working with electrical motors, MCCs, UPS, HV and LV switchgear and distribution.
- Working knowledge of ATEX and wiring regulations (18th Edition).
