CK Group are recruiting for an Electrical Engineer on behalf of a rapidly expanding Pharmaceutical CDMO to be based in their brand new facilities in Middlesbrough on a permanent basis.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure regulatory compliance for electrical equipment.
  • Lead the development of site engineering standards, for electrical equipment.
  • Ensure inspections are scheduled in keeping with regulations.
  • Carry out load assessments and cable calculations for new equipment.
  • Update wiring drawings and schematics.
  • Maintain a database of electrical systems and ensure remedial actions are prioritised.
  • Making and influencing decisions regarding maintenance regimes to maximise uptime, throughput, quality, and yieldand optimise expenditure.
  • Preparing Capital Proposals for investments within the area of expertise.

Your Background:

  • Degree level in Electrical Engineering, preferably chartered status
  • Relevant electrical engineering experience in the chemical or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Experience working with electrical motors, MCCs, UPS, HV and LV switchgear and distribution.
  • Working knowledge of ATEX and wiring regulations (18th Edition).
