We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Compliance Manager to join our team to provide professional mechanical / electrical support (HV/LV Commercial and Domestic), advice and coaching at project and regional level across Wates Property Services.

Key Accountabilities Will Include

Provide guidance to project teams on service delivery.

Undertake a programme of project visits based on risk that ensure the highest level of M&E compliance is in place.

Ensure all project teams are fully aware of their roles and responsibilities, with regards to services management.

Develop a network of peers within the business supply chain, to influence and ensure Wates policies are understood and deployed.

Support teams when investigating M&E related incidents in accordance with the above standards.

Act as the Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to appoint APs, authorise works and monitor controls on projects including HV maintenance and switching tasks.

We are looking for you to be a qualified electrically and mechanically with excellent knowledge of BS5266 - Emergency Lighting and BS5839 - Fire Alarm installations, and also meet the NICEIC/ECA/SELECT requirements for Qualified Compliance Manager.

You will have strong IT skills as well as up to date and relevant technical skills, design awareness knowledge and Electrical Quality Control processes and requirements supported by Technical Legislation/ Regulations knowledge.

To be successful in the role you will have effective communications skills - both written and oral, be customer focused and have strong planning & organising skills.

This role can be based at our Manchester or Birmingham office with travel across the region.
