We are looking for someone like you to become our all-new Elastic Stack Engineer and join our passionate and talented Web team, where we are building on the years of success that Rebellion has enjoyed.

Elastic Stack Engineer role:
The Elastic Stack Engineer is a new role dedicated to Ensuring performance, usability and reliability of our ELK stack for users and Contributing and implementing a roadmap for improvement of our analytics pipeline. As part of the Web team, you will play a key role in development, maintenance and utilisation tasks for Recon analytics.
This role would suit someone who has previously worked with Kibana, Elasticsearch & Logstash.
The Web Tech team at Rebellion is responsible for the development, updating and maintenance of internal web applications and API services for the company.

Key Outcomes:
Improving indexing, performance and response times of existing ELK stack
Maintaining high availability and zero-data loss of pipeline
Configuration and change management of our ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana)
Assisting other developers with ELK related matters
Increasing capacity and enabling more teams to access and utilise our analytics platform
Responsibilities

Ensuring performance, usability and reliability of our ELK stack for users

Contributing and implementing a roadmap for improvement of our analytics pipeline
Setting up and assisting internal users with access and configuring of Kibana
Troubleshooting errors, performance issues

Requirements

Required:
Professional experience in the design, maintenance and management of ELK stacks (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana)
Experience of configuring and maintaining Elastic clusters
Experience working with large data sets and elastic indexing best practices
Self-motivated and initiative taking
Ability to manage your own time and tasks well, working alone and with other teams
A good understanding of network protocols, security and performance

Desirable:
Experience working with Kibana extensions
Elastic certified training and/or qualifications
ELK DevOps experience, including containerisation and kuberenetes
Experience working with large scale analytics collection
