EHS Advisor

CK Group are recruiting for an EHS Advisor to join a global pharmaceutical company, based in Wirral on a contract basis for 12 months.

Salary: £13.74 per hour PAYE

EHS Advisor Role:

• Play a supporting role in developing a positive and proactive Health & Safety culture across the business
• Ensure that all departments adequately document all relevant EHS records
• Assist site Departments with reviewing Risk Assessments & Method Statements and answering any EHS related queries
• Maintain and continually improve the EHS Management System and maintenance of document control processes & standards
• Perform internal audits in accordance with the related standards and assist with the setting of corrective actions to address the root cause of findings

Your Background:

• Hold a degree in a Science based subject
• EHS qualification (NEBOSH Certificate or IOSH Managing Safely) would be an advantage
• Strong understanding of Safety/Chemical Management Systems with their implementation & set-up
• Self-motivated, well-organized and able to work to deadlines
• Prior EHS experience is desirable but full training will be give for the right candidate
