The Purpose:

As an ecommerce Copywriter, you will play a crucial role in creating compelling and persuasive copy that drives engagement, conversion, and brand loyalty. You will collaborate with various teams, including marketing, design, and product, to ensure consistency and excellence in our brand messaging across all channels.

The Role:
  • Crafting clear, concise, and engaging product descriptions that highlight features, benefits, and unique selling points.
  • Writing and optimising website content, including landing pages, category pages, and promotional banners, ensuring consistency with brand voice and style.
  • Developing persuasive and attention-grabbing copy for email campaigns, newsletters, and promotional materials to drive customer engagement and sales.
  • Conducting keyword research and ability to integrate relevant keywords seamlessly into product descriptions and website content to enhance search engine visibility.
  • Creating captivating copy for social media posts, ads, and captions that align with the brand personality and resonate with the target audience.
  • Working closely and collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, digital product & experiences and product development, to understand and convey the brand messaging effectively.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to conduct A/B testing on copy variations to optimize messaging for better performance.
  • Keeping informed about industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging e-commerce practices to continually improve and innovate our copywriting approach
  • Demonstrating the ability to efficiently organise your time and workload, ensuring tasks are prioritized effectively and deadlines are consistently met
  • Exhibiting a strong willingness to thrive and evolve within a dynamic, fast-paced environment, where adaptability and agility are paramount for success.
